Dynamic Dental Duo

Karen And Kate Zabiela

Karen and Kate Zabiela are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to volunteering, and the team at Rockingham Dental Centre are very proud of them. Both have been involved in every one of our Rescue Days, and Karen has also gone on to help the National Dental Foundation run their Homeless Connect days in Rockingham and Perth city.

Karen has run Gerard’s practice for many years. She used to bring her daughter Kate along to help out on the Rescue Days, even before Kate had completed her dental assistant training at OHCWA. Kate later worked for Russell before going on to manage a specialist practice, but she would always return for our Rescue Days. Kate has been a long-time devotee to physical fitness and is currently training in sports massage and personal training – she certainly has the six-pack to prove it!
